Kesa Knot Earrings with Tassel
These are Japanese style in its most purest form- small and beautiful! These beautiful earrings from Yuki Hasegwa, are artfully made by hand using traditional Japanese braiding techniques. They are created with every wearer in mind. She would like to share with you the meaning behind the Kesa knot.
The Kesa knot is one of the Shutara knots which is used when Buddhist priests read a sutra (scripture). They believe that the shutara knot has the power to keep the sutra from spreading away. So I make these Kesa knot accessories wishing they make people’s dreams or wishes stay with them longer and stronger. The tassel below will protect you from evil.
